Patrizia is open to going into business with a partner if the right person comes along she said, â€Å"Two people means you have different ideas and more creativity, plus two heads are better than one†. However starting her business was a little harder than she had originally thought it would be. Starting Up Amore Italia Growing up in Italy Patrizia was surrounded by the fashion world and has worked in the industry almost her entire life, so she figured starting a clothing store would be simple. She was fortunate enough to have an empty building for her business that her father had kept after he retired his Panini shop. She thought it would take $10,000 to get her store started but that wasn’t the case. The store needed major remodeling and the original $10,000 quickly changed. After the store had been completely changed to Patrizia’s liking and the cost of licenses and legal documents she had to obtain, the grand total was $40,000. What it takes to be a Business Owner When I asked Patrizia what challenges and rewards are there in being a business owner she responded, â€Å"Italian fashion is not exactly the same as American fashion. I am constantly on the lookout for clothes that I think fits the needs of my customers.
